    Jóvenes por el Clima

    ARGENTINA

    Jóvenes por el Clima is a youth-led climate movement in Argentina launched in 2019, affiliated with Fridays for Future. What began as four friends catalyzing climate consciousness has grown into a network of over 250 activists across more than 11 provinces. They blend climate awareness with social justice, environmental education, and political engagement across Latin America.

  • YouthNet

    BANGLADESH

    YouthNet for Climate Justice is a youth-led environmental advocacy group based in Barisal, Bangladesh, founded in 2016. Driven by young activists, the organization empowers communities in coastal regions that are vulnerable to flooding and climate shocks. YouthNet mobilizes youth through climate dialogues, community rescue efforts (e.g. during the Feni floods), educational campaigns, and grassroots resilience training. Their efforts have reached thousands, combining disaster relief, SDG advocacy, and youth leadership to ensure that young voices shape climate action and community adaptation strategies.

  • Águas Resilientes

    BRAZIL

    Águas Resilientes, also known as Resilient Waters Institute, is a Brazilian youth-led initiative dedicated to advancing socio-environmental resilience through access to water, sanitation, and hygiene. They engage young people and communities across Brazil, shaping advocacy agendas—like the #WaterYouthStrategy—for global events such as the UN 2023 Water Conference.

    CHILE

    CEUS (Corporación de Estudiantes Universitarios Sustentables) is the first and only network of future sustainability professionals in Chile. Guided by pillars like capacity building, political advocacy, empowerment, and promoting sustainability and just energy transitions, they support civil society’s active role in shaping environmental policy and climate action in Chile. Their work includes producing tools like the Youth Climate Action Agenda, developed collaboratively by young Chileans to address the climate emergency.

  • GYM

    DENMARK

    Den Grønne Ungdomsbevægelse (Green Youth Movement) is a Danish, volunteer-driven youth climate movement founded in 2018. Non-partisan and justice-oriented, it mobilizes young people across Denmark to push for systemic change. They are demanding ambitious climate targets, stronger biodiversity protections, and accountability for polluters through demonstrations, campaigns, and local activism.

  • ACTSustainable

    EGYPT

    It is an Egyptian non-profit social enterprise founded in 2022 in collaboration with LCOY Egypt. They empower youth through capacity building, environmental consultancy, research, and events such as forums, conferences, and eco-tourism initiatives. Their projects include the Afro-Arab Volunteers for Climate Change Forum, MENA Youth Adaptation Forum, and LCOY Egypt, with a strong presence at regional and global climate platforms.

    MEXICO

    The Red de Jóvenes Ambientalistas (Environmental Youth Network) is a coalition of youth-led and civil society groups across 19 Mexican states. It was created to foster environmental leadership through training, volunteerism, and activism at local and national levels. The Network has empowered thousands of young environmental promoters and continues to grow.

    NEPAL

    Established in 2008, Nepalese Youth for Climate Action (NYCA) is a coalition of youth networks across Nepal dedicated to confronting climate change with the motto “Caring for Climate, Caring for Ourselves.” They mobilize youth leadership, community education, and advocacy for climate solutions across the country. 

  • UN1FY

    NEPAL

    UN1FY (United International Federation of Youth for Water and Climate) is the officially recognized youth constituency of the Water and Climate Coalition. It brings youth into high-level water and climate policy dialogues, including the UN 2023 Water Conference, by developing the Youth Water and Climate Development Plan and Agenda (YDPA) from consolidated youth inputs. 

  • Jonge Klimaatbeweging

    THE NETHERLANDS

    Jonge Klimaatbeweging (Young Climate Movement Netherlands) is a youth climate coalition representing more than 60-70 youth organisations and over 100,000 young people. Their vision includes a future-oriented Netherlands where climate justice, participation, and broad well-being are central, aiming for goals like becoming climate-neutral or energy-positive by 2040.

  • BRAIN BUILDERS

    NIGERIA

    Starting in 2014 on the University of Ilorin campus, BBYDI grew into a women- and youth-led NGO advocating for good governance, civic engagement, youth entrepreneurship, and accountability through data-driven approaches. They emphasize SDG-aligned leadership and transparent governance in Nigeria.

    NIGERIA

    Earthplus Sustainability Network is a youth-led nonprofit founded in 2015, based in Lagos, Nigeria, committed to environmental sustainability and sustainable development, particularly across Africa. Their work includes policy advocacy, public awareness campaigns, research, institutional engagement, and hands-on local projects, with special focus on youth participation and education.

    NIGERIA

    Also known as Nigeria Youth SDGs Network, this youth-led NGO, founded in 2017, operates across all 36 states of Nigeria. Dedicated to the localization of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), they advance youth engagement through storytelling, leadership programs, mentoring, advocacy, and policy dialogue. They’ve reached thousands directly and tens of thousands indirectly.

  • Climate Forward

    PAKISTAN

    Climate Forward Pakistan is a young, dynamic youth movement committed to climate justice and resilience-building. Originating as a response to policy and advocacy gaps, they now operate as a nationwide platform empowering children and youth through awareness campaigns, education, climate leadership programs, and advocacy for equitable solutions.

  • ARAB YOUTH CLIMATE MOVEMENT

    QATAR

    The Arab Youth Climate Movement is an independent, youth-led network established across the MENA region. Since its inception, it has worked to catalyze a generation-wide movement for climate justice, raising awareness, advocating for binding climate policies, and bridging grassroots initiatives with international negotiations.

  • GEYK

    SOUTH KOREA

    Green Environment Youth Korea (GEYK) is a youth-driven organization committed to tackling climate change through education, advocacy, and research. Based in South Korea, they unite young activists to engage in community projects, public campaigns, and international climate movements, such as 350.org’s Renew Our Power event in Brazil. GEYK works to inspire systemic change by equipping youth with the knowledge, skills, and platforms to influence environmental policies at local, national, and global levels.


  • Swiss Youth for Climate

    SWITZERLAND

    Founded in 2015, Swiss Youth for Climate is a non-partisan youth-led NGO working to elevate youth voices in climate policy at all levels. They deliver educational campaigns, workshops, and advocacy initiatives—in Switzerland and internationally—to empower youth participation in climate discourse. 

  • G4CA

    UGANDA

    Girls For Climate Action (G4CA) is a youth and female-led movement in Uganda, focusing on climate justice rooted in lived experience. Since 2016, they’ve empowered girls and young women through community-led climate education, technical support for youth solutions, and sustainable farming initiatives that strengthen resilience and gender equity.

  • Clima21st

    ZIMBABWE

    Clima21st is a youth-led climate initiative in Zimbabwe dedicated to empowering young people through meaningful dialogue and action on climate change. They organize Youth Climate Dialogues that bring together youth, policymakers, and partners — including diplomatic missions like the Dutch Embassy — to exchange ideas, build awareness, and influence climate policy. Their work focuses on creating inclusive platforms where young voices can directly shape national and global climate agendas.
