Jóvenes por el Clima
ARGENTINA
Jóvenes por el Clima is a youth-led climate movement in Argentina launched in 2019, affiliated with Fridays for Future. What began as four friends catalyzing climate consciousness has grown into a network of over 250 activists across more than 11 provinces. They blend climate awareness with social justice, environmental education, and political engagement across Latin America. -
CEUS
CHILE
CEUS (Corporación de Estudiantes Universitarios Sustentables) is the first and only network of future sustainability professionals in Chile. Guided by pillars like capacity building, political advocacy, empowerment, and promoting sustainability and just energy transitions, they support civil society’s active role in shaping environmental policy and climate action in Chile. Their work includes producing tools like the Youth Climate Action Agenda, developed collaboratively by young Chileans to address the climate emergency. -
Umbrella
GEORGIA
Umbrella is a Georgian youth organization grounded in democratic and liberal values, targeting individuals 13–30 years old. They run non-formal education and development programs to build competencies in civics, human rights, environmental awareness, and democracy. Their notable project “Youth Work/Ers Matter!” strengthens youth work standards across Georgia. -
Gutta-Club
MOLDOVA
Established in 1996, Gutta‑Club is one of Moldova’s earliest NGOs. It fosters environmental education, resource conservation, permaculture, human rights, and youth empowerment. The organization has received national recognition with awards for energy efficiency and education. They train environmental activists and coordinate EU-backed programs like SPARE. -
YSDN
NIGERIA
Also known as Nigeria Youth SDGs Network, this youth-led NGO, founded in 2017, operates across all 36 states of Nigeria. Dedicated to the localization of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), they advance youth engagement through storytelling, leadership programs, mentoring, advocacy, and policy dialogue. They’ve reached thousands directly and tens of thousands indirectly. -
Climate Forward
PAKISTAN
Climate Forward Pakistan is a young, dynamic youth movement committed to climate justice and resilience-building. Originating as a response to policy and advocacy gaps, they now operate as a nationwide platform empowering children and youth through awareness campaigns, education, climate leadership programs, and advocacy for equitable solutions. -
OPE
PORTUGAL
Embedded in Portugal’s eco-club movement, OPE (Organisation for the Promotion of Ecoclubs) fosters biodiversity awareness and pride in national natural heritage through youth-led eco-clubs—reinventing environmental education, especially during challenging times like the pandemic. -
PUSH
SWEDEN
PUSH Sweden is a proactive youth-led NGO pushing for climate neutrality and sustainable policymaking in Sweden. They drive youth engagement in international platforms such as COP negotiations and legal advocacy, including litigation against government decisions that fail to account for climate impact—exemplifying strategic civic action for a greener future.
